Re: Applications of intelligent mapping on January 10, 2010 Reply / Edit For a long time advances in technology caused destruction of enviroment as a side effect. I believe we have reached such technological level that we can start reversing that trend, and start using technology for conservation and rebuilding of wildlife habitats. The mix of intelligent mapping, satellite imagery and citizen scientist involvement facilitate new ways of collecting and analysing ecological data, that are more accurate, up-to-date and cost effective.
