is it possibly a junco with some mutation in the feather coloring?

By Howard on 7/26/2010 4:24:26 PM

It's a partially albino Dark-eyed Junco. It will be interesting to learn how long it continues to appear. A few years ago we had a male Junco with a slight deformity resulting in a small tuft of feathers on its head. I came back for five winters at least. (NE St John's)
