Old Man's Beard high in a tree, hence nothing for scale and a mediocre shot with optical zoom. Estimated 15-20 cm maximum length tip to tip.

This is probably not a Usnea, and isn't the usual Old Man's Beard (Usnea longissima), which resembles Christmas tree garland.
It's difficult to tell due to low resolution of photo, but chances are this is probably the super-abundant Alectoria sarmentosa (Witches Hair). There's even a slim chance that it may be a similar-looking (but rare) species Ramalina thrausta (Angel Hair).
