pretty sure this is a Brant! It seems to be a rare siting for NL? Not listed in my Birds of Newfoundland book anyway...

This is definately a Brant Goose and it is quite rare in NL, I think this species has been previously recorded in Newfoundland, but still a great sighting and some nice pics.

Thanks! I thought so... it's still here in Harbour Grace.. guess it plans on spending the winter!
