I think this is coltsfoot not hawkweed.  Coltsfoot is an early flowering plant.

Coltsfoot has its single flowers coming up first before the leaves.  The flowers are the first to appear in the spring.  Long before dandelion and hawkweed.   Hawkweed is much taller and the flowers are clustered at the top.
