Comments:
saw a tiny bit of Kelp moving at the bottom of the boat. Strange. It was a very small Whelk moving. bent down very close and it had legs. gee. picked it up between my fingers and it was a Hermit Crab. the tiniest by far I've ever seen. the shell was 1/2 inch long. the comparative size can be seen in two of the photos in which I used a lid from a 500 ml bottle of mineral water.
