I'm thinking this is a golden coloured Lung lichen? I was shooting into the sun, but the colour in reality is almost golden. It's growing on the side of a 4-5 metre tall Dogberry tree ('Sorbus decora').

This is without doubt Lobaria scrobiculata or Textured Lungwort. It is in the middle in terms of abundance of the three Lobaria species occurring in NF. Very rarely it has reddish-brown apothecia. This, along with several other species, has been considered as an indicator species for the possible presence of Boreal Felt Lichen. mac
