1) Lichen on rock. The rock was dug from the soil and moved to the edge of a field 33 years ago. Illustrates grow rate of the lichen.
2) Fruiting lichen and moss on silicic rock. The rock is contemporaneous with the rock mentioned above.

The crustose lichens on rock are likely Porpidia species, possibly P. albocaeruluscens and P. crustulata - difficult to ID from photos.
The cup lichen is a Cladonia species in the chlorophaea group, which has a number of species that occur here in NL.
